Hawkhurst Men Win in 1st round of the Mail on Sunday Classic 2012 Competition

In a closely fought competition over the Woosnam Course at Dale Hill on 29th January, the Hawkhurst team of Steven Shipley, Darren Child, Ed Pardoe, Bill West and David Bedford triumphed over Dale Hill Golf Club.

The match finished two and a half, two and a half. Our Club Captain Steven played a 19th hole tie breaker and managed to win the hole. The Hawkhurst team were suitably delighted in beating our local rivals. We look forward to the next round!
